Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Member Solutions Representative. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members.  A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members.

This position will be responsible for contacting members who are delinquent in the repayment of their loans and accounts, and to obtain payments, commitment agreements or establish a repayment plan.

Responsibilities:

• Work assigned portfolio.  Ensure loan collection actions on assigned loans   are appropriate and timely and that established policies and procedures were observed.
• Work through and update collections system.
• Recommend workout loans for members when required.
• Recommend loans for: offset, in-house or attorney demand letter, and repossession.
• Perform basic skip tracing activities.
• Restrict accounts from use and/or deleting credit limits.
• Counsel members on personal credit matters. Create structured repayment plan for credit union debt.  Make recommendations to resolve difficulties with other creditors.
• Obtain information and make recommendation to member contact personnel on delinquent loans.
• Send additional notices other than automated on selected delinquent loans.
• Request cancellation of covered checking when loans are > 30 days past due
• Update member information.
• Place contacts and alerts on delinquent loans.
• Research loan history when disputes are received
• Process extensions hardship and disaster
• Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements:

• At least 2 years related collection and operational experience
