Customer Service Representative


The Office Assistant is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all orders received. Some of the responsibilities and duties of this position include answering phones, opening, reading, sorting and processing orders, data entry of order information, and communicates with third parties regarding orders.   • Receive orders daily via mail and/or scan ins
  • Identifying orders that require Prior Authorization and submitting identified orders to the PA Team
  • Responsible for counting/batching/numbering of orders
  • Efficiently and timely scanning of orders into excel
  • Accurately File orders
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
  • Maintain communication with peers and management to address any issues or problems that may hinder processes and meeting deadlines
  • Uploading corresponding documents to patient accounts
  • Identifying/documenting errors made on the Data Entry side
  • Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers.
  • Markets the company in a positive and professional manner at all times
  • Assist with site visits from accrediting bodies such as Medicare, Medicaid, Department of Health and Human Services
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work under pressure, make good judgments, be tactful, independent, assertive and professional in demeanor
  • Ability to comply with professional standards and agency policies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing         
  •   Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED
  • Healthcare Experience
  • 40 hours a week Monday- Friday 8:30AM - 5:00 PM
  • Medical Terminology
