Medical Administrative Assistant: PART-TIME POSITION: 2-3 days a week, 8 am – 4:30 pm

We are adding to our team! Hanemann Plastic Surgery is seeking a self-motivated, task oriented, reliable, and professional person capable of multi-tasking and managing tasks in a fast paced and busy plastic surgery office. This position is extremely important to the practice and we are in search of a permanent part-time employee to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and assist all incoming and outgoing patients
  • Data entry and scanning of all patient documents
  • Collection of payments and other fees
  • Insurance verifications / authorizations
  • Gathering required patient test results which includes calling various doctors’ offices
  • Prepare and clean clinic rooms
  • Cleaning, repackaging and sterilizing medical instruments
  • Maintaining knowledge of current patient programs and skin care systems
  • Managing patient photos
  • Assist during nonsurgical procedures
  • Restocking nurses’ station, surgery supplies, and skincare products
  • In conjunction to our marketing team, keep our social media relevant and up to date

Requirements:

  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in computer use, EMR, Microsoft word, and excel
  • Proven work experience
  • Experience in the health care setting preferred
  • Some college preferred but not required
