Funds Development Manager Duties: The Life of a Single Mom currently has a Funds Development Manager position available. The Funds Development Manager is responsible for procurement of funding for organization, including donor cultivation, solicitation, corporate sponsorships, planned gifts, grants administration and management of all department staff.
Responsibilities Include*:
Sales Presentations to procure financial support for organization, including corporate sponsorships, individual donors, foundations, and others using donor cultivation strategies
Fundraiser event planning & implementation
Review and write grants to procure funding and analyze performance and reports of grant monies received
Compile, analyze, and report on trends in the funding department and market-at-large.
Develop and present funding and marketing proposals for potential partners.
Develop and implement long-term goals to achieve sustainability for organization
Work closely with external fundraising committee, including procurement of new members, creating program agendas, creating meeting schedule, and writing meeting minutes
Employee Management of all department team members, including training, coaching, feedback, and dissemination of duties
Plan, create, and disseminate quarterly communication with donors and stakeholders via donor newsletter

Qualifications Include:
Proven ability to create and deliver presentations
At least 1 year of fundraising or sales experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting analytics
Ideal applicant must be goal-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
