The Life of a Single Mom is a national, faith-based nonprofit organization that exists to see that no single mom walks alone by establishing single mom support groups and providing education in 3 core area: Parenting, Finances, and Health & Wellness. The organization has served more than 400,000 single mothers throughout all 50 states and is considered an industry leader in single mom support group implementation, education, and empowerment events. As 2020 brought unprecedented hardship to single mother homes, we are expanding our ministry team to meet the needs of more mothers and have some exciting career opportunities available.

Program Department Manager:The Life of a Single Mom currently has a Program Manager position available. The Program Manager is responsible for management of all programs and events, including program oversight and goal-setting, public presentations as community liaison, data retention, management of all department staff, trouble-shooting with single mom ministry leaders, and sales of all resource materials and curriculum.

Responsibilities Include*:

  • Plan and manage the delivery of all programs, in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization, including strategy implementation and analysis

  • Create, distribute, and analyze surveys among clients and stakeholders

  • Work closely with external program committee, including procurement of new members, creating program agendas, creating meeting schedule, and writing meeting minutes

  • Process reports for all major programs and events and conduct monthly audit of data

  • Employee Management of all department team members, including training, coaching, feedback, and dissemination of duties

  • Sales Presentations & Training to clergy and community leaders on single mom support group implementation

  • Implement new single mom support groups throughout U.S. Ministry relations & single mom support group troubleshooting

  • Public Presentations & implementation of community partnerships

  • Development & implementation of marketing strategies, including email blasts, newsletters, outbound phone calls, social media posts, etc.

  • Event planning & Implementation

Qualifications Include:

  • 1-3 years of project and/or program management

  • Proven ability to create and deliver presentations

  • At least 1 year of directly managing employees

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting analytics

Ideal applicant must be a detail-oriented, high-capacity multi-tasker and forward thinker. Applicant must be computer savvy with experience with Microsoft Office. Sales experience and CRM experience are a bonus.
