SummaryProvide assistance to the Quality Assurance team in an effort to minimize warehouse shrink and to maximize customer satisfaction. Keep a well-organized inventory of PPE and headsets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Process warehouse damages and research unknown pallets within the distribution center.* Communicate vendor related issues to the proper procurement team members and obtain product dispositions.* Research and correct any quality issues reported through customer service or other outlets.* Perform weekly dating report checks as needed.* Utilize the WMS to make the appropriate inventory adjusts on assignments.* Verify product inquiries and discrepancies.* Identify and communicate slotting opportunities to improve quality of service, productivity and to reduce inventory shrink.* Ensure that repaired and repackaged cases are selected via jackpot slots.* Monitor aisles for damaged/stray cases, hanging cases in reserve, and unsanitary conditions.* Keep the equipment cage well organized and maintain an up to date inventory on all items within weekly.* Report any broken headsets to logistics manager so a repair can be coordinated.* Assist in the tobacco vendor returns process as needed.* Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; make on the spot correction of unsafe acts and maintain an inspection ready distribution center.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one or more years warehouse related experience and/or training.Computer Skills* Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Other Skills and Abilities: (must have or learn within in 6 months)* Warehouse Management System* Customer Service* Company Policies and Procedures* UFCW Contract* Regulations* Government* MSDS* Food Safety & Security* HCAAP* OHSA* Sanitation Standard Operating ProceduresOther Qualifications:* Must be able to routinely lift up to 60lbs.
