This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Responsibilities Include:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Prepare and process payments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
• Maintain accurate general ledger coding in accordance with accounting principles
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support internal decision-making
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records
• Support ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)
• Proficiency with Quickbooks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
