This person will work 100% on-site with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams to build and maintain schedules, track progress, identify potential delays, and provide clear information to management.The ideal candidate is someone who is good with details, understands how to manage timelines and priorities, can work with people across different departments, and is comfortable working with data and spreadsheets . Experience with scheduling or project planning is helpful, but we are open to candidates who have the right skills and ability to learn our systems and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project schedules and timelines.Track milestones, deadlines, progress, and changes.Identify potential delays, scheduling issues, and resource concerns.Work with managers and team members to gather and update schedule information.Analyze information and communicate potential impacts to management.Help develop short-term and long-term project forecasts.Support project planning, staffing, and resource needs.Prepare reports, status updates, and presentations for management.Help identify solutions when schedules or project plans change.Maintain accurate and organized project information.Work with Finance and Program Management to support project planning and reporting.Learn and use company scheduling and project management systems.What We're Looking ForStrong organizational and time-management skills.Good analytical and problem-solving ability.Comfortable working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Ability to understand how different tasks and teams affect an overall project.Good communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.Ability to identify problems and ask the right questions.Comfortable learning new software and business processes.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.Helpful ExperienceExperience in any of the following areas would be helpful, but is not required:Project scheduling or planningProject management or project controlsManufacturing or engineeringGovernment or aerospace programsBudget or financial planningResource or staffing planningEarned Value Management or similar project trackingDeltek or other project management/scheduling softwareMicrosoft Excel and PowerPointWhat Success Looks LikeProject schedules are accurate, current, and easy to understand.Potential problems and delays are identified early.Managers have reliable information to make decisions.Project teams provide timely and accurate updates.The employee develops a strong understanding of BHT's programs, processes, and systems.Additional InformationAll positions at Bascom Hunter are subject to background investigations.
