This position is located within the Office of Tourism in Baton Rouge, LA. The Louisiana Office of Tourism's vision is to market and promote the brand of Feed Your Soul, showcasing Louisiana as a travel destination, increasing revenue generated by the tourism industry, and contributing to the economic impact of tourism in all 64 parishes. The Office of Tourism partners with tourism professionals and industry stakeholders in private and public sectors to extend and enhance their efforts to reach domestic and international consumers and travel trade. We are seeking a highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Senior Multimedia Producer & Digital Asset Specialist to spearhead our agency's visual storytelling, asset collection, and data preservation efforts. This advanced position splits its focus between field execution and strategic media management. In this role, you will lead high-end agency photography, produce engaging video content tailored for social media platforms, and architect the agency's centralized digital asset management (DAM) system. The ideal candidate pairs a sharp artistic eye with the organizational mindset of a digital archivist. Five years of experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, content creation, social media management, or graphic design; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field plus two years of experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, content creation, social media management, or graphic design; OR A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, content creation, social media management, or graphic design; OR An advanced degree in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, or English plus one year of experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, content creation, social media management, or graphic design. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
