Minimum Qualifications Five years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: - Serves as a liaison between the Assistant Secretary, Medical Director, government agencies, Local Governing Entities, and Behavioral Health headquarters staff.
- Tracks, routes, and follows up on correspondence from elected officials, constituents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely responses.
- Coordinates executive meetings, leadership meetings, workshops, interviews, and appointments, including scheduling presenters and documenting meeting minutes and action items.
- Screens and prioritizes telephone calls and inquiries for the Assistant Secretary and Medical Director and refers matters to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Ensures requests for information and action are addressed timely in the absence of the Assistant Secretary and Medical Director.
- Performs, audits, and monitors time administration activities and records to ensure compliance with LDH and Office of Behavioral Health policies and requirements.
- Prepares travel documentation and coordinates travel arrangements for executive leadership and other staff, as needed.
