The Emerge Center is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and flexible
Administrative Assistant-Float to provide administrative support across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and is
comfortable stepping into different responsibilities as needs arise.
Rather than being tied to one specific department, this position will serve as a flexible
administrative resource, helping keep daily operations running smoothly and providing
coverage and support wherever it is needed most.
What You'll Do
Administrative Support
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to departments throughout
Emerge.
• Assist with scheduling, data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining records.
• Prepare documents, forms, reports, and other administrative materials.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, mail, and other correspondence as needed.
• Assist with maintaining organized and accurate electronic and paper files.
Float & Department Support
• Provide administrative coverage for staff who are out of the office or during periods
of increased workload.
• Assist different departments with short-term projects and ongoing administrative
needs.
• Step into various office functions as priorities change.
• Help identify administrative gaps and take initiative to address them.
• Support special projects, events, meetings, and organizational initiatives.
Front Office & Customer Service
• Greet and assist families, visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and
welcoming manner.
• Help maintain a positive, organized, and professional office environment.
• Direct questions and requests to the appropriate department or team member.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous administrative, office, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Prior experience in medical office scheduling or intake coordination strongly
preferred.
• Familiarity with Medtron or similar EMR systems a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
• Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds
