Warehouse ManagerPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:Stocking shelves with products as directed by supervisors or managersEnsuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly by communicating with other staff membersCommunicating with suppliers to arrange shipment of new inventory into the warehousePerforming basic bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining inventory records and preparing reportsMaintaining the organization of warehouse shelves to ensure that items are placed in accordance with company standardsProviding customer service such as answering questions about products or helping them locate specific itemsOrganizing and maintaining warehouse inventory records such as item location, quantity, condition, price, etc.Loading and unloading trucks with inventory items or materials used for productions such as film, music, or theaterCommunicating with clients about their orders, processing payments, and shipping goods to themCompetencies:Communication: Communicates well, delivers presentations, has good listening skillsCustomer Service: Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customersDependability: Meets deadlines, works independently, accountable, maintains focus, punctual, good attendance recordQuality: Strives to eliminate errors, accurate work is a priority, seeks opportunities to improve product/servicesTeamwork: Accountable to team, works to meet established deliverables, appreciates view of team members, respectfulPhysical Demands:Occasional: standing, walking, and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.Frequent: sitting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and handsSpeech and Vision abilities are required.Target Compensation Range:$15 per hourQualifications:Experience:Preferred: Experience with inventory management software preferred 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment preferred Associate's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred Forklift Certification 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting High School Diploma or GEDEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
