The Executive Division coordinates and administers the various activities of the Office of Enforcement in Baton Rouge, LA. Among the primary responsibilities of the Executive Director's Office staff is the oversight of statutory responsibilities and regulations, professional service contracts, budget, personnel, information, safety, and emergency matters.
LOCATION AND POSITION INFORMATION:
This Administrative Assistant 6 is located within the Executive Division of the Office of Enforcement and reports to the Executive Director. This position serves as the confidential executive assistant to the Executive Director and provides administrative support, assistance, and coordination to research, document, and oversee various projects for the Office of Enforcement. Such duties are assigned by the Executive Director. Upon the Executive Director's request, this position exercises influence and/or authority on office management, personnel matters, and procedures as related to the Divisions of the Office of Enforcement.
An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:
Five years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.

This position requires the use of excellent people skills, strong computer and organization skills, and excellent communication skills. Maintaining a professional nature is vital. This position also provides supervision and training of student employees, interns, and other administrative staff in the daily function of the Office of Enforcement's main reception desk.
