Scheduler/Data Entry - Port Allen
Full-Time
$20/hr - $25/hr
Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Production Scheduler for a client in West baton Rouge Parish. The scheduler role will involve planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products throughout the entire production cycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to meet both internal financial targets and customer delivery deadlines. The ideal candidate is bilingual, well spoken with excellent typing skills and proficient in Excel with a background in ERP/MRP planning systems in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop production schedules based on production capacity to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of parts to ensure smooth material flow and adherence to the production schedule.
• Collaborate with the material purchasing team and/or expedite supplier purchase orders as needed.
• Communicate any schedule changes or delays to Outside Sales and Customer Service Representatives to keep customers informed.
• Work with production teams to create schedules that meet customer commitments.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial, fabrication, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP software is a plus.
• Strong ability to interact with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and software applications.
• A strong team player who is willing to contribute in all aspects of the role.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (ability to maintain spreadsheets daily).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
