This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. This position is temporary and includes full state fringe benefits; the position is expected to last up to two (2) years.
As the Emergency Planning & Project Coordinator, you will develop, implement, lead and maintain complex priority projects including partner engagement strategies, managing reporting and progress, planning the transition to agency business areas, and maintaining visibility for leadership through reporting and data visualization. This role includes responsibilities legislatively mandated related to updating the state's emergency responsibilities for the Department of Human Services (DHS).

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years' working experience coordinating and managing emergency response and planning.
Experience must include:
*Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health, or related degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
**Master's degree in emergency management, public health, or related degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
