The Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) performs functions of the state relative to the examination and licensing of operators of motor vehicles, the suspension and revocation of such licenses, issuance of vehicle title and registration certificates, license plates for all motor vehicles operated upon the highways of the state, recordation of liens against vehicles, and the collection of sales/use tax and other appropriate fees, all in accordance with applicable laws.
We're looking for a Motor Vehicle Analyst 4 to join our Region 4 OMV Locations. The Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) will provide the highest quality service and protection to internal and external customers in an environment that views change as an opportunity.

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience or training in any field. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: May be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment.

Appointment Type: This vacancy will be filled by the promotion of a current, permanent-status DPS-Office of Motor Vehicles employee.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of up to $2.00 per hour.
