USA Storage Centers emphasizes friendly, supportive service and recognizes that every storage unit represents an important chapter in a customer's life.Role DescriptionThe Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing daily operations of a self-storage facility. This includes managing customer inquiries, rentals, payments, and move-ins/move-outs, while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. The Store Manager maintains facility security and cleanliness, conducts regular inspections, and monitors access and footage as needed. The role also includes managing inventory of supplies, implementing retail loss prevention practices, and handling basic administrative tasks such as reporting and record-keeping. The Store Manager may supervise onsite staff, support local marketing efforts, and contribute to meeting occupancy and revenue goals.QualificationsStrong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build positive relationships and address concerns promptly.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, colleagues, and leadership clearly and professionally.Experience in store management or similar supervisory roles, including overseeing daily operations and coordinating staff activities.Knowledge of retail loss prevention practices to help safeguard property, monitor activity, and follow company policies.Basic administrative, organizational, and time-management skills, including comfort with computers and standard office software.Ability to work on-site, perform light physical tasks related to unit inspections, and maintain a clean and safe facility environment.Prior experience in self-storage, property management, or retail is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business, management, or customer service is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
