We are currently seeking a WAREHOUSEMAN-DRIVER to join our team at our location in Houma, LA.Essential Responsibilities: This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, shipping, deliveries, and maintaining an organized work environment. The successful candidate is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining an organized warehouse while providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders; report any discrepancies or damaged goods.Process receiving documentation and enter inventory into the system.Pull customer orders and transfers and stage materials for processing and shipment.Prepare and pull shipments for delivery via motor freight, UPS, and company truck.Stock incoming inventory and place materials in designated warehouse locations.Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse.Assist will-call customers by loading materials into customer vehicles.Monitor warehouse systems and printers for pick tickets, purchase orders, and operational reports.Confirm shipment status and delivery completion for customer orders.Perform basic instrument shop assemblies and conversions involving fittings, gauges, seals, hose products, and actuated valves.Make local deliveries and pickups as needed, including vendor purchase orders and customer deliveries.Stock vendor shelving and consignment inventory as directed.Ensure signed packing slips are returned for completed deliveries.Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory accuracy efforts.Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety, including light facility maintenance duties.Support overall branch operations by performing additional duties as assigned.QualificationsPrior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience preferred.Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified).Ability to lift and move materials safely and frequently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required for delivery responsibilities.Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to customer service.#J-18808-Ljbffr
