The Shipping & Logistics Clerk is responsible for packaging, scheduling, and routing of pharmacy deliveries, including interdepartmental supplies and correspondence, and maintaining timely, accurate delivery records.This is a full-time position based in Baton Rouge, LA at 6100 Corporate Boulevard. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends shifts!About the Role:Complete daily packaging, scheduling, and routing of deliveries/drivers in the most efficient manner possibleCommunicate professionally and clearly with drivers and pharmacy staff regarding delivery status updatesEnter delivery information into pharmacy systemsScan delivery receipt forms into database and confirm receipt of packages with physician offices and patientsPrepare FedEx, UPS, and other packages for shipmentEnsure all deliveries are made accurately and on time and that all packages are accounted forInteract courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive, professional relationshipsMaintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace within the pharmacyProactively identify problems, elevate if/when appropriate, and provide effective solutionsPerform other related duties as assignedPerform in accordance with company policies and standardsEmbrace and perform in the spirit of the company's core values and goalsAbout You:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in shipping and packaging (especially medications)Strong customer service attitude and skillsStrong typing, data-entry, and counting skillsHigh attention to detailAble to lift and carry light to medium-weight packagesProficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in Spanish preferredAble to maintain a high level of confidentialityResponsible and reliable with a track record of good attendanceMust have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer serviceBenefits:Healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision) for eligible team members and their families, along with additional company paid and voluntary benefit offerings.
