The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for delivering Quality Assurance/Quality Control for products, supporting manufacturing process and customer requirements.Position Responsibilities:Performs chemical tests and analysis on raw material, in-process, and finished product samples following established laboratory methods and proceduresAnalytical instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshootingAnalyzes process water for proper chemical treatmentPrepare reagents, solutions, and standards as requiredMonitors and maintains laboratory supply and chemical inventory to ensure effective laboratory operationDaily testing of production samples and reporting of analytical dataIssuing Certificates of Analysis for finished productMaintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and ISO standard requirementsParticipating in Continuous Improvement projects to drive business valueAlways observes plant and laboratory safety rules and regulationsContinually works to exceed customer expectations through the effective production and delivery of accurate, precise and reliable resultsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, inprocess production, and finished productsIdentify and address deviations from quality standards promptly and effectivelyCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate and resolve quality issuesImplement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurringMaintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality control dataQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.A minimum of twelve (14) hours college chemistry OR three plus years laboratory experience, preferably in a chemical plant environment is required.Must have the ability and desire to work 12 hour rotating shifts.Ability to lift 25 pounds is required.CompensationThe annual base pay range for this position is $37.04 per hour .
