Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and train team members on technical processes. The Lead Maintenance Technician role will lead a team of subordinate mechanics.Daily ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise for equipment operations and maintenanceEnsure production and support equipment is functioning properlyPerform preventative maintenance proceduresTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions in a timely mannerMake mechanical repairs and adjustments to equipment as neededLead and train team members on technical aspects of the processAssigns work to maintenance teamPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMinimum age 18 years oldPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with United safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills requiredWorking knowledge of various instrumentation and electrical devices requiredKnowledge of various mechanical processes is necessary (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc)Effective leadership, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skillsAbility to work with all functional team membersAbility to communicate effectivelyPhysical RequirementsPosition will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.
