Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. This role is responsible for overseeing the repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance of complex electrical systems across an institutional and clinical environment.This role is ideal for someone who brings maintenance experience, can lead from the front, and is comfortable operating in a structured, compliance-driven environment.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.Lead in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systemsOversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and uptimeInspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety standardsTrain, coach, and develop team members while working alongside them in the fieldEnsure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and institutional standardsMaintain proper inventory levels of tools, materials, and equipmentPrepare cost estimates, work plans, and maintenance reportsManage work orders and documentation within a CMMS systemCoordinate with leadership, vendors, and other departments as neededParticipate in rotational on‑call coverage for after‑hours, weekend, and holiday electrical emergenciesDemonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsPrevious maintenance experience preferredAbility to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risksDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalMust be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsPrior experience leading or supervising a teamStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environmentPreferred QualificationsOSHA or government safety trainingThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
