Warehouse Associate I – FloWorksJoin to apply for the Warehouse Associate I role at FloWorks .Job InformationThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucksResponsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentationRouting material to either staging or shipping areasMechanically InclinedAbility to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisorMust be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plusUse Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and SuppliersMaintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the sameAttention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize workQualificationsHS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibilityKnowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and toolsMaterial resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP)Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systemsPhysical DemandsFrequently required to standFrequently required to walkContinually required to sitContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterityOccasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawlContinually required to talk or hearContinually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboardOccasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 poundsOccasionally work near moving mechanical partsOccasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsOccasionally exposure to outside weather conditionsOccasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
