Dietary Cook I - FT

Assistant and performs cooking duties in the food and nutritional service area following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements.

· Prepares all breakfast food items for cafeteria. Serves inpatient breakfast tray line.

· Assembles and prepares all fried foods. Assist with preparation of specialty sandwiches.

· Prepares all bread, potato side items, and gravy.

· Washes all items needed in preparing foods. Assist cook in delivering food items to cafeteria.

Education and Experience:

· Prefer High School Diploma or the equivalent

· Prefer 1-year experience in institutional food service cooking

· Prefer Diet Technician certification
