We are currently seeking a talented, service driven to Whealdon Estates by Barclay House. This role is perfect for a culinary professional who blends creativity, leadership, hospitality, and operational excellence to deliver a worldclass dining experience for residents class dining experience for residents.

Primary Responsibilities of the Executive Chef

• Oversee all culinary operations and ensure an efficient, high-performing dining department
• Implement menus, supervise meal preparation, and maintain exceptional food quality and presentation
• Create staff schedules, order supplies, and maintain proper inventory levels
• Foster a kitchen environment rooted in teamwork, safety, cleanliness, and hospitality
• Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both culinary execution and customer service
• Collaborate with community leadership and other departments to support resident satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning kitchen and dining area
• Support culinary creativity and innovation to enhance the resident dining experience

Requirements

Education & Experience

• A caring heart and genuine willingness to serve others
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality
• Minimum of 2 years of staff management experience in hospitality, restaurant, or long-term care environments (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a lead cook role or higher
• ServSafe Certification and Food Manager Certification required
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and state food safety requirements
• Knowledge of POS systems preferred
• Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about culinary excellence
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
