Description:

We're looking for a hands‑on, strategic CFO to lead all financial functions and partner closely with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth, strengthen cash and risk management, and build scalable processes and reporting. This is an opportunity for a builder who thrives in fast‑changing environments and translates financial insights into clear, actionable decisions.

What you'll do
  • Own the company's financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal controls
  • Deliver timely monthly/quarterly reporting and present insights to the board and executive leadership
  • Lead cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financial risk assessment
  • Build and refine budgets, forecasts, and scenario models aligned to company strategy
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance policies—right‑sized for speed
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, lenders, investors, and key financial partners
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team with a culture of accountability
What we're looking for

You bring strong financial leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to build systems that scale. You're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and influencing stakeholders with clear, data‑driven communication.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing core finance functions (accounting, treasury, tax, planning & analysis)
  • Strength in strategic planning, forecasting, and performance management, banking and fundraising
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial topics for non‑finance leaders
Success looks like
  • Hands‑on builder who creates processes, controls, and reporting from the ground up
  • Commercial mindset with a strong grasp of unit economics, pricing, margins, and cost‑to‑serve
  • Comfort with ambiguity and disciplined prioritization focused on cash, runway, and near‑term decisions
  • Confident change leader who aligns owners, lenders, boards, and operators through a turnaround
  • Strong risk, controls, and compliance orientation without slowing execution
  • Data‑driven communicator who turns financials into clear actions
  • Resilient, steady, and transparent under pressure
Ideal background
  • Carve‑out, restart, acquisition integration, or rapid scale—stabilizing close and reporting cadence
  • Turnaround and liquidity management, including 13‑week cash forecasting and working capital improvement
  • Cost transformation initiatives (zero‑based budgeting, vendor renegotiation, footprint rationalization)
  • Capital structure work—debt/equity raises, covenant management, lender negotiations, investor reporting
  • ERP/finance systems selection or remediation; dashboarding and master data clean‑up
  • Audit, tax, and regulatory readiness in fast‑changing environments
  • Commercial partnership with sales/operations—deal modeling, contract terms, profitability analytics
  • Building lean teams and leveraging shared services/outsourcing where appropriate
Education
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
