Provide leadership and oversight of all aspects of finance for the Business Unit, including developing and monitoring progress against the Annual Operating Plan, performing financial analysis, identifying month‑end financial drivers, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with state requirements. Lead medical cost improvement initiatives, conduct financial impact analysis for new contracts and support negotiations, and review monthly performance and results to provide recommendations to senior management. Act as the chief liaison between Corporate Finance and the Business Unit, establish financial strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures, oversee and validate pricing models, lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas, direct health plan analytical needs, coordinate reporting strategy, and lead audit and rate‑setting activities with corporate and state actuaries.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (required). Master's Degree (preferred). Minimum 10+ years in a high‑level finance role within the healthcare or insurance industry. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Baton Rouge/ Covington, LA area. CPA preferred.
Pay Range: $217,600.00 – $411,800.00 per year.
