This role is instrumental in achieving success through hard work, integrity, and developing yourself and others./pulliSupport the Area Manager and General Manager in managing your team of protectors./liliCollaborate daily with all Area Staff, with a goal of Continuous Improvement in all functional areas of the business/liliDirect supervision for Field crews/liliMaintain Field/Office Responsibilities; 80% in Field and 20% in Office/liliEnsure that safety, quality, training, employee engagement, and retention are a prime focus of the business/liliProtect the companys employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices/liliCoach, Motivate, Develop your team of protectors/liliDevelop relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals and new business opportunities/liliPerform field and vehicle inspections, attend pre-bid meetings, meet with clients and work in the field with the team as needed/liliEnsure customer service issues are addressed promptly and efficiently while providing the highest level of customer service/liliAssist in preparing daily schedules/liliMonitor daily employee issues including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, time off requests, customer issues, and training requirements/liliFacilitate teambuilding efforts and regular communications with team members/liliEngage and support the training of new and current employees to reduce turnover, promote efficiency and reduce labor costs/liliObtain ATSSA and state-specific certifications/liliBecome a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh2Qualifications/h2ulliHigh School Diploma or GED completion/lili4-year degree in a business-related field is a plus but not required/lili1-2 years of supervisor experience and building teams with 20+ individuals/liliMust be able to and enjoy connecting with field-level customers and contacts/liliExcellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills/liliTake the initiative to build work relationships with your team/liliContributes to the engagement and ongoing development of AWP Safety employees/liliIntermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems/liliMust adhere to and promote safe workplace practices/liliValid Drivers License void of suspension or revocation/liliHours of operation may vary based on staffing needs and workload/liliTypical workweek 40+ hours/liliMajority of time will be in the field/liliThe position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt/liliOccasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving vehicles, and occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites/liliNoise levels in the work environment and job sites can be loud/liliPosition may lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds/liliIf necessary, in the field, stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts pushes, pulls, or carries objects/li/ulpCompensation: $55K-70K Base + 10% AIP Bonus + Company Vehicle and Gas Card./ppThe base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
