Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Zachary, LA, working in a hospital setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Louisiana state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in an acute care or hospital environment preferred. Ability to work with adult rehabilitation patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Certification or experience in orthopedic, neurologic, or post-operative care preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 0800-1700. Shift schedule: Days. Impacting Patient Care Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, supporting recovery from acute injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic condition management. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other therapy disciplines to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document patient progress and participate in discharge planning to support safe transitions of care.
