About this Job Section 30 Location/ Survey S 30/50695618/ BAS/5.20.26-BH - Business Analytic Specialist (Statewide Mapping)About this Position:This position leads and improves efficiency and effectiveness of the LA DOTD Remote Sensing Unit for the Statewide Mapping Program collection efforts. The position consults with counterparts in the Data Collection and Management Systems (Section 21) to provide DOTD with the most accurate remotely sensed Geographic Information Systems (GIS) imaging data, which is used by the department, external contractors, the Federal Government, and the public. Also, this position acts as a liaison to the Statewide Topographic Mapping Program's future collection and future planning and facilitates our collection efforts with all State and Federal partners related to the program.
