Job Details

This is an advanced Journeyman position which performs carpentry work, flooring, glass work, door/window work, and, as required, lock work, regardless of the nature or complexity of the work. In addition, performs lead worker duties over assigned carpenter and maintenance worker employees & contractors. This job may also require the understanding and safe operation of heavy equipment. Job Responsibilities. This position requires working independently with minimum supervision to investigate and respond to all carpentry emergency situations and make necessary repairs to windows, doors, stairs, specialty doors, roll-up and rolling walls, tool boxes, podiums, and concrete forms. Assesses the situation and initiates work orders to the proper trades personnel if not carpentry-related. Analyzes emergency and routine situations to determine tools and materials necessary to complete assignments.
