Fresenius Medical Care - 2326 South Darla Avenue - Responsibilities: Educates patients on the availability of alternative insurance options (Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Supplement, State Renal programs, and COBRA); Educates and coordinates insurance options for open enrollment and Medicare reinstatement periods; Prepares, analyzes, and reviews monthly reports to track work progress on caseloads and audit patient insurance information in billing systems; Monitors and verifies Medicaid status and spend down amounts for patients; Act as liaison between patients and local agents for Medicare terminations and re-in statements
