About Our School: St. James Middle School/High School is a diverse 6-12 building dedicated to providing students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that prepare them for future careers and post-secondary success. We are seeking a dynamic Agriculture & CTE Teacher to lead and expand our 7-12 agriculture and technical education program. This position will include teaching a variety of agriculture and CTE courses (Personal Finance, Accounting, Careers, Study Skills), supporting FFA activities, and maintaining the school's greenhouse and garden. The ideal candidate will bring industry knowledge and a passion for helping students develop career-ready skills in areas such as woodworking, construction, and welding.
Required: Minnesota teaching license in Agriculture Education or Career and Technical Education (or ability to obtain licensure).
Preferred: Experience in agricultural education, CTE instruction, FFA leadership, or related industry experience. Strong ability to develop hands-on, career-focused learning experiences. Passion for engaging students in real-world applications of agriculture, trades, and technical skills. Effective collaboration and communication skills. Ability to teach College in Schools (CIS) or willingness to obtain CIS credentials.
