This role oversees a team of Account Executives, working closely with executive leadership to implement enterprise-level sales strategies, develop high-value partnerships, and ensure consistent execution of Abode's value-based care model. The current territory of this role encompasses the following southern United States markets (with plans to expand): Florida - Jacksonville, Central, Panhandle, South Florida Texas/South Central - TX, AR, LA, MS (DFW, East TX, Gulf Coast) GA, NC - Atlanta, Carolinas Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Director plays a critical role in shaping the organization's market strategy, mentoring leaders, and delivering measurable business results.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Growth OversightLead the development and execution of area- and enterprise-wide business development strategies to achieve revenue and census goals Oversee the performance of the account executive team, providing coaching, mentoring, and accountabilityAnalyze market data, competitor activity, and trends to inform strategic planning and identify new business opportunitiesPartner with executive leadership to align business development strategies with organizational goals and budget objectivesSupport enterprise-level contract negotiations, high-value partnerships, and strategic initiativesSales Execution & Territory ManagementDirectly influence and support major business development efforts across assigned regionsGuide teams in developing territory plans, targeting high-potential prospects, DeNovo initiatives, and executing go-to-market strategiesEnsure consistent adoption of CRM and reporting practices (Salesforce) to monitor sales pipeline and performance metricsMonitor performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and implement corrective actions as neededRelationship Development & Stakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with senior leaders, referral sources, payers, and key community partnersEnsure teams deliver high-quality presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of each clientRepresent Abode Care Partners at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional forumsCollaborate with internal clinical, operations, and pharmacy teams to optimize onboarding, client satisfaction, and long-term partnershipsOperational Excellence & Team DevelopmentRecruit, hire, and develop high-performing business development leaders and teamsEstablish consistent sales processes, training programs, and performance standardsMonitor regional metrics proactively and implement strategies to drive improvement and growthContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for assigned regionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.7+ years of progressive healthcare sales or business development experience, including senior living and skilled nursing preferredProven success leading multi-region teams and implementing strategic growth initiativesExperience in strategic partnerships, contract negotiation, and enterprise-level client managementValid driver's license; travel as requiredStrong executive leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skillsAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market dataExceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for C-suite and stakeholder engagementProficiency with MS Office Suite, Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM platformsRelationship-building expertise and professional network across target client sectorsHigh professionalism, integrity, and empathy for older adult populationsAbout our Line of BusinessAbode Care Partners, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a leading provider of integrated medical services, caring for individuals from post-hospitalization to home in various settings ranging from skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, independent living, group homes, and private homes.
