Orbital Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to assist with single and multi-discipline projects in our Baton Rouge, LA Region. The position requires demonstrated engineering and design competence, preferably in a consulting environment and experience in the petrochemical, chemical, and power generation sectors. Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To Review client requests for proposals and scopes of work. Act as Orbital representative at bid walkdowns. Prepare manhour estimates and proposals. Evaluate and develop piping specifications and equipment designs for heavy industrial applications (Metals, Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical and/or Utilities & Power Generation industries) Perform engineering studies and calculations with specific focus in pipe stress analysis and hydraulic analysis Prepare equipment specifications and scopes of work and provide procurement and construction support services through evaluation of equipment bid...Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical, Engineer, Technical Support, Mechanic
