Section 24 - Road Design About this Position:The Project Manager is responsible for project delivery from inception through construction. Manages consultant engineering contracts (develops project scopes, negotiates man-hours and fees, establishes contract time requirements, establishes design criteria, monitors progress and quality of work, approves final acceptance of plans, and approves invoices for payment). Reviews plans prepared by consultants for conformity with AASHTO guidelines and DOTD policies, procedures, and standards. Coordinates project development through contact with entities, principals and senior engineers of consulting firms as well as their design staff.
