FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.Job SummaryThe Traveling Electrical Site Supervisor will manage a commercial electrical project in New Mexico. They will manage other electricians to ensure they properly install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and they will conduct regular inspections to make sure that all required supplies, materials, and equipment are available and working as intended. This job includes housing, per diem, a company vehicle, and all standard company benefits. Upon completion of this project (2+ years) there is potential to manage a project in a different area.Essential Job DutiesEstablish high-quality work practices that align with the mission of FMMAssist with the electrical work when neededCoordinate projects and maintain schedules to ensure crew members complete their work on timeProduce and prepare sketches and layout drawings for projectsMinimize errors and solve problems quicklyTrain new electricians or establish a team of crew members who facilitate training to new electriciansHave complete understanding of electrical system installation in ground up commercial projectsCan implement all aspects of a new construction commercial electrical build. Slab rough in, wall layout, installation of equipment/gear, power and lighting distribution, feeder pulls, trim out, trouble shooting, code compliance, best standard electrical practices, cost control, and crew managementRequired Skills and QualificationsMust have a High School Diploma or equivalent apprenticeshipMust adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environmentMust have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical workMust have knowledge of safety rules and regulations and learn client and company policyAbility to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and IntegrityProficient in computer, text, and email skillsProficient in using power tools and electrical testing equipmentKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience working with high voltage and low voltage systemsStrong understanding of electrical principles and conceptsAbility to build and install electrical systems in commercial and residential settingsFamiliarity with reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagramsAbility to manage challenges and lead with confidenceProven leadership and organizational skillsExceptional communication skillsHeavy travel is requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to pass a Fit for Duty ScreeningAbility to pass a drug and alcohol screeningAbility to pass a motor vehicle report screeningHigh noise environmentRegularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and working around construction machineryMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsAt FMM, we provide our clients with high quality, high value maintenance and construction services while maintaining superior levels of communication, professionalism, integrity, and honesty with our staff, clients, suppliers, and professional associates.
