Overview
EY's AI & Data practice is investing in client engagements to leverage AI at scale across the life sciences sector. As a Senior Manager in AI Strategy, you will design and deliver AI strategies that enhance patient care, streamline clinical operations, and support drug development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engagement delivery, ensuring quality, risk management, and project lifecycle governance.
- Collaborate with life sciences stakeholders to identify AI opportunities that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior Life Science sector leaders (CIO, CDO, CMIO, Chief Analytics Officer, VP of Population Health, etc.).
- Manage client relationships, focusing on revenue generation and identification of new opportunities.
- Develop AI strategies that comply with life sciences regulations and enhance data‑driven decision‑making in clinical settings.
- Develop and manage resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Typically, 5–7 years of relevant experience delivering client engagements across sizes and geographies with health sector clients (payer, provider, public health, or health tech).
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD, CPT), data privacy, and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Strong expertise in AI platforms and tools.
- Proficiency in data architecture design and modelling.
- Experience applying AI solutions in the life sciences sector, particularly in drug discovery and patient care.
- Experience in digital transformation and IT effectiveness assessment.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and technology strategy, vision, and roadmap.
- Ability to build and manage relationships effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing change and leading teams.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with sector knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Experience with life sciences data standards and regulatory compliance.

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary range $144,000–$329,100 nationwide, with higher ranges in major metros.
