Position: Shift Supervisor
Job Type: Pool/ Non-Exempt
Shift Details: Pool: Shift hours as needed- 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. A minimum of two shifts per month required. All pool staff, regardless of type, must be available to work at least 2 shifts per month to include the following holidays: Christmas, New Years Day AND One other major holiday: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day *Please note the 2 shifts will be offered based on the provided availability by the employee. New employee orientation is three full days and does require attendance for all days. Training is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday onsite and full days' attendance is required.
Work Location: Crisis - Bridge Center For Hope; Baton Rouge, LA
Salary/Hourly Wage: $28.00 - $32.00/hour
Specialties / Licenses or Certifications:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
- Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
- State designation as required per state regulations.
Summary of Job
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Provides leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned staff.
- Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
- Guest Care & Advocacy:
- Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
- Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual's support team such as family members, friends, case managers and other area programs.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

- Education/Licenses:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
- State designation as required per state regulations.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
- Skills:
- Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements
- Driving Requirements:
- If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations' driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
- Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
- Travel required based on business need.
- Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

- Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position).
A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands: May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
