About this Job Human Resources Supervisor (Classification & Compensation)The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Supervisor to supervise the Headquarters Classification and Compensation Unit within the Compensation & Staffing (C&S) Section. This position serves as a working supervisor, performing complex classification and compensation work while supervising professional HR staff. The role involves analyzing position and pay issues, advising DOTD executives and management on sensitive classification and compensation matters, and preparing, reviewing, and presenting position papers and recommendations for executive and committee consideration. With oversight of classification and compensation activities affecting more than 5,000 positions statewide, this role is critical to maintaining internal equity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with DOTDs compensation philosophy.
