Full Time Accounting & Business Instructor
This is a 9-month, full-time position. Instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, and St. Charles), as determined by student need and institutional demand. Teaching needs may include face-to-face/online and/or evening classes. Full-time faculty are expected to actively serve on campus committees, participate in campus activities, and participate in student advising and recruitment.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in accounting OR master's degree (in any discipline) and 18 graduate semester hours in accounting OR Certified Public Accountant with a master's degree (in any discipline). Official transcripts must be submitted.
- Preference given to applicants who can also be credentialed to teach other BUSN and/or CPTR courses:
- BUSN: Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) OR master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in one or any combination of the following fields: business, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing. Official transcripts must be submitted.
- CPTR: Master's degree with MS Office Certifications OR master's degree with five years of teaching MS Office Suite at the college level. Official transcripts must be submitted.
- Satisfactory background check an offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Proficiencies in classroom technologies (podium computer, laptop, iPad, and SMARTBoard) and use of Canvas LMS
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.

Full Time Faculty Job Responsibilities:
The following constitutes an employment agreement between the college and faculty member and is contingent upon student enrollment and the authority provided by the Board of Supervisors for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS). Faculty member agrees to fulfill the following responsibilities:
