Job Full Description
Solidworks CAD Designer - Port Allen
FULL-TIME
$25/Hr +
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is seeking a Solidworks CAD Designer for a local manufacturing company in Port Allen. The primary responsibility will be using Soldiworks for drafting of various custom parts and components.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and update drawings, schematics, and plans using Solidworks.
- Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed drawings.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for current and future reference.
- Assist with revisions and modifications as needed during project development.
- Proficiency in Solidworks.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards and technical drawing conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
