We're looking for a Plummer Pipefitter Master. In this role you will perform highly skilled, technical installations, repairs and modification to all plumbing systems including above and below ground, low- and high-pressure steam, gas and water systems for a large state agency complex, using multiple trades skills (plumbing, welding, insulating, pipefitting).

Minimum Qualifications

One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience: Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.

Job Duties And Other Information

Job Duties:

1. Works with and from plans, and specifications to install new, and or modify existing plumbing/piping systems.
2. Works with contractors on deferred maintenance, tile 38, and emergency repair projects to ensure quality of craftsmanship, safety of building occupants, and ensure utility outages have the minimal effect on building occupants.
3. Installs, troubleshoots repairs, modifies, and inspects steam, gas, water, storm drains, acid waste, and sanitary sewer, compressed gases, heating water, chill water, water heaters, boilers, fan coils, control valves, air handlers, lab equipment, firewater, fire sprinklers and standpipes.
4. Performs multiple skills such as insulation, welding, carpentry, painting, and cleaning to complete job assignments as required.
5. Performs administration duties such as preparing time reports, purchasing materials, and making job assignments in absence of supervisor, large scale projects, or in time of emergency.
6. Other duties as assigned.
