Director of Construction/ Senior Project Manager – Bearing Point Properties

Bearing Point Properties is seeking a seasoned construction leader to step into one of the most impactful roles in the company as the Director of Construction for our growing multifamily construction division. If you've spent the last decade or more as a Senior Project Manager navigating the complexities of multifamily construction from pre-construction and groundbreaking to ribbon-cutting, this is the role where your expertise drives the entire division. As Director, you will be building the systems, leading the teams, and setting the standards that define how Bearing Point constructs communities for years to come. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale multifamily construction projects from development, pre-construction through closeout.
• Provide leadership to project teams, mentor junior staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Work effectively with other divisions of the company effectively and collaboratively in preconstruction with the development team and post construction with the property management team.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
• Oversee compliance with safety regulations, company quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and report updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years ground-up experience as Project Manager on Multifamily and/or Production Home Building Projects, commercial construction projects is a plus
• Proficiency in construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel is required, along with the ability to leverage technology across all aspects of project management.
• Experience in identifying risks before they happen and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication, management, problem-solving, organizational skills, and a strong focus on safety and quality control
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
