Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Associate Inspector - Day to join their team. As a Production Associate Inspector - Day, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting production and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate Inspector - Day
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Pay Range: $17.75
Shift: 8 hours per shift
What's the Job?
Ensure the effective inspection, quarantine, rework, and release of products prior to reception and shipment.
Execute procedures for the inspection of incoming raw material and determine if the material is clear for use in production activities.
Inspect in-progress and finished products to meet customer requirements and decide if rework or clearance for release and shipping is necessary.
Liaise with Management, Production, Shipping/Receiving, and IT teams to manage operational exceptions.
Take effective and prompt corrective actions and participate in continuous improvement activities.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in reading and understanding the English language.
Ability to read and understand written documents, technical specifications, and operating instructions.
Experience in using scales, rulers, counters, and similar tools for quality procedures.
