A well-established industrial solutions provider is seeking an Account Manager Industrial Chemical Sales to support continued growth in a defined regional territory. This role involves selling specialized products and associated service solutions to commercial and industrial clients. The position requires a balance of new business development and ongoing account management across multiple industry sectors.
The Account Manager Industrial Chemical Sales is responsible for identifying new opportunities, actively prospecting and developing accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Experience in commercial sales environments, including service-based offerings and facility-related applications
Responsible for growing existing customer accounts, with approximately 1520% of efforts focused on outbound new business development
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively use computers and standard business programs
Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to evaluate changing conditions and make sound decisions
Willingness to learn and understand company-specific products, services, and applications across multiple industry sectors
Relationship building, Collaboration & Teamwork, Excellent Presentation skills, Consultative Approach, Time Management & Organization, Active Listening & Communication Skills. Strong emphasis on gauging aptitude for RELATIONSHIP BUILDING along with an attitude of customer service.
