The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to moreintegrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seekinga dedicated Administrative Assistant 4 to join our dynamic team.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
  • Independently performs the following duties:
    • Independently researches employee files and LaGov Human Capital Management (HCM) to provide information for employment and wage verifications and to facilitate and provide service to the general public, employees, and officials.
    • Screens mail, phone calls, and visitors, records messages, and schedules appointments.
    • Answers routine HR questions and refers more complex questions to appropriate HR subject matter experts. Independently prepares monthly and quarterly regulatory training for HR and ensures staff are in-serviced. Conducts building safety inspection and submits maintenance requests for needed repairs.
    • Prepares agenda and required material for staff meetings and records and maintains minutes of meetings.
    • Prepares HR related documents as directed.
    • Prepares invoice for copying records and submits payments upon receipt to Fiscal Services.
    • Coordinates travel arrangements for HR Director and appropriate travel reimbursement documents.
    • Processes expenditure requests for department and monitors receipt and distribution of all purchased items. Maintains inventory control of property within department. Ensures supplies are available for staff by securing such items from the Pinecrest warehouses.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by probation, promotion, demotion, lateral transfer, detail to special duty, or job appointment. Preference may be given to employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Location: Position is located withPINECREST SUPPORTS & SERVICES CENTER - Human Resources

SHIFT: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PASS DAYS: Saturday / Sunday

Compensation: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 4:$15.76 - $27.01
