Assistant and performs cooking duties in the food and nutritional service area following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements.* Prepares all breakfast food items for cafeteria. Serves inpatient breakfast tray line.* Assembles and prepares all fried foods. Assist with preparation of specialty sandwiches.* Prepares all bread, potato side items, and gravy.* Washes all items needed in preparing foods. Assist cook in delivering food items to cafeteria.Education and Experience:* Prefer High School Diploma or the equivalent* Prefer 1-year experience in institutional food service cooking* Prefer Diet Technician certification
