Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Business Analyst to support and enhance warehouse and logistics operations within a SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands-on, business-facing role focused on translating operational needs into scalable SAP EWM solutions while partnering closely with warehouse leadership, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in SAP EWM/WM, strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, and the ability to lead requirements, configuration, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives in an onsite setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP EWM functional lead supporting warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and inventory management
• Configure and support SAP EWM functionalities including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and physical inventory
• Collaborate with SAP PP, MM, SD, IM, and other integrated modules to ensure end-to-end process alignment
• Support SAP S/4HANA initiatives including enhancements, upgrades, and post-go-live stabilization
• Lead or support system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and coordinate defect resolution
• Work closely with warehouse operations teams to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for EWM-related issues
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and training materials
• Support change management efforts and act as a trusted liaison between IT and business teams

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with SAP Warehouse Management solutions (EWM and/or WM)
• Strong functional knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations
• Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and business process design
• Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with operations leaders and IT teams
• Experience supporting onsite warehouse or distribution center operations
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Frisco, TX or Baton Rouge, LA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CPG manufacturing and distribution environments, including retail and direct-to-consumer distribution models
• Exposure to SAP MM, SD, and IM integrations
• Experience leading or supporting SAP implementations or major enhancements
