Baton Rouge
The Advocate/Times-Picayune, Louisiana's largest news organization, seeks an experienced, collaborative journalist to help lead coverage of the Baton Rouge area. We're looking for someone who can manage breaking news in a competitive media market and help reporters balance daily beat coverage with enterprise ranging from hard news to features. The deputy metro editor works closely with other deputy editors, the managing editor and our digital and visuals teams on topics ranging from politics and business to crime and education.
Our company also operates newsrooms in New Orleans, Lafayette, Shreveport and Lake Charles, serving readers statewide with award-winning reporting.
